Samuel Ballinger

Samuel is the commercial leader driving Southflow — a strategist who turns end‑to‑end supply chain insight into margin growth, operational clarity, and decisive action. His background spans the full commercial and supply chain lifecycle: procurement and inventory planning roles inside major retailers, selling into global retailers and manufacturers, and leading supply chain, procurement, and production optimization for manufacturers across private equity portfolios, publicly traded companies, and privately owned firms. This diverse experience gives him a rare, practical understanding of how vendors price, how operations flow, and where margin is truly won or lost.

Samuel holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MsSCM) from the University of South Florida and serves as a guest supply chain lecturer at local universities, bringing real‑world commercial and operational perspective to the classroom.

Outside of work, Samuel enjoys time with his wife and their two dogs, stays active through playing and coaching soccer, and is a devoted Indiana Hoosiers sports fan. He loves traveling and exploring new places — bringing the same curiosity, discipline, and team‑driven mindset to life that he brings to every Southflow engagement.
